Kick-off Project CRIARTE P2030: Innovation in Construction with Robotics, AI and Augmented Reality

On January 24, 2025, we held the Launch Meeting for the CRIARTE P2030 R&D Project at Ingeniarius headquarters, bringing together researchers and industrial partners from Ingeniarius, Garcia, Garcia SA, BUILT CoLAB, the Porto Higher Institute of Engineering, and the Coimbra Higher Institute of Engineering. This moment marks the beginning of an ambitious journey to revolutionize the construction sector in Portugal.

With this project, we aim to integrate mobile robotics, AI, digital twins, and augmented reality to promote safer, more efficient, and sustainable collaboration between autonomous machines and human workers. During the meeting, we discussed partner contributions, methodologies, and standards to ensure seamless interoperability between systems.

The day concluded with exciting demonstrations led by Ingeniarius, showcasing fleet management systems, multi-UAV technology, and high-capacity autonomous robotics.
